Account & sign-in

A PolyCreator account does exactly one thing: it identifies you. The canvas,
plugins, and themes all run locally — signing in or out never gates local
features.

Register & sign in

Click “Sign in” at the top-right of polycreator.si:

• Register: name, email, password. After registering, please sign in once.
• Sign in: email + password.
• Forgot password: click “Forgot password?”, enter your email, and a reset
  link is sent (if that email exists). Links expire — request a fresh one if
  yours lapsed.

Desktop sign-in

The desktop app has no embedded password box; it uses a browser-confirm flow:

1. Start sign-in in the desktop app; a browser window opens automatically.
2. Confirm the desktop app sign-in in the browser.
3. The app finishes signing in and returns to the foreground on its own. If
   nothing happens, the confirm page has a “Back to PolyCreator” button that
   pulls the app forward via the polycreator://auth deep link.

That deep link only brings the app to the foreground — it carries no data.
The real authorization is completed by polling in the app's main process.

Sign out & account management

• After signing in, open the “Account” page (top-right) to change your
  password or sign out.
• Deleting your account permanently deletes the account and its data. Think
  twice — the confirm dialog asks once more.

Email never arrives?

• Check spam first; reset/verification mail occasionally lands there.
• Repeated requests trigger rate limiting (“too many requests, try again
  later”) — wait a few minutes before retrying.
• A link that won't open has usually expired; start a fresh one from the app
  or the site.
