Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026. By downloading or using PolyCreator you agree to these terms.

1. What PolyCreator is

PolyCreator is a desktop AI canvas: you put text, images, video, audio and 3D models on one node graph and let them drive each other. The canvas runs on your computer — workflows, plugins and assets are all local.

The website (polycreator.si) provides the plugin and theme catalogue, account sign-in, and distribution of the desktop installer. The website does not run your workflows.

2. Accounts

  • Signing up needs an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping the password safe and for everything done under your account.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it.
  • You can change your password, export your data, or delete your account at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.
  • We may ask you to verify your email where it matters — for example before a desktop app attaches itself to the account. Make sure your address can receive mail.

3. Model providers and API keys

PolyCreator does not provide model inference. You enter your own provider API key in the settings, and the request goes from you to that provider directly.

That means:

  • The provider charges you, and has nothing to do with PolyCreator;
  • the key is yours to keep. The desktop app stores it encrypted and never uploads it to our servers;
  • the provider you choose is bound by their own terms, including their content policy and retention. We neither control nor answer for them;
  • if a key leaks or its quota is abused, that is your responsibility. Revoke and rotate it at the provider immediately.

4. Plugins and themes

Plugins and themes are published by third-party authors, not by us.

  • We provide the catalogue and the installation; the authors are responsible for the content;
  • what a plugin can do depends on its own code. We do not read every plugin's source;
  • judge for yourself before installing one. It runs on your machine and can do what your machine can do;
  • an author may update or withdraw their plugin at any time. We make no promise about any plugin's availability or safety;
  • problems between a plugin and the site are for the author and you to sort out.

Deep-link installs (polycreator://install?url=…) download and run a third-party package. When you get one, check where it came from first.

5. Your content

  • What you generate is yours. We claim no ownership of it and assert no rights over it.
  • You are responsible for how you use it — make sure you have the right to the input material and that nothing breaks the law.
  • What you grant us is a limited licence to run the service: sending your content to the provider you configured to generate, and downloading plugin code onto your machine. Nothing else.
  • We do not train models on your content and we do not sell it to anyone.

6. Availability

  • We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will not go down. Planned maintenance, third-party provider outages and events beyond our control all affect it.
  • The desktop app runs on your machine; the network is used for the catalogue, downloads and your account, and local features keep working offline.
  • We may change or retire features at any time, and we will update the documentation when it matters.

7. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, PolyCreator is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We are not responsible for: the results your content produces, the behaviour of third-party providers, the behaviour of third-party plugins, or any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PolyCreator and its affiliates, authors and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill.

Our total liability is capped at what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim; if you have never paid, the cap is USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or certain damages to be limited, so parts of this may not apply to you.

9. Termination

  • You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms — for example abusing rate limits, attacking the service, or infringing someone's rights.
  • After termination, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.

10. Changes to these terms

When the terms change materially we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service means accepting the change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are settled by negotiation first; failing that, the courts of Beijing have jurisdiction.

If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections that your home country forces on us.
